Welcome back to College 2021-22

Dear students/parent/guardian & carers,

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome back all of our College learners and Hub members & I’m very much looking forward to meeting and working with you all again this year.

Now that College life is returning to some sense of normality; work experiences, community outings, travel training and mixed groups are all back on our timetables – I’d like us to make sure we continue to do everything we can to keep each other safe. Alongside the optional regular testing we can undertake in College, we would like to issue you with rapid Lateral Flow test devices (LFD kits) for you to use at home as an extra source of precaution.

We fully appreciate this is not possible for all learners and some simply won’t wish to have tests taken and that is of course their right – However for those that can, regular home testing has proved an invaluable means of preventing and slowing down transmission rates and helps to keep our College sites open.

If you’d like to receive a supply of LFD kits, please get in touch with your College:
