Neil enjoying the Croft Centre
When Neil first came to ESPA as a day student at South Hill he presented with extreme challenging behaviours. After his placement ended at South Hill he moved onto the Croft Centre, ESPA’s day service and from there he became a resident in the Coach House – one of ESPA’s bespoke apartments. Historically Neil’s extreme challenging behaviour limited the activities he would take part in and he stopped attending the Croft Centre. However since moving into his new home his dedicated team have supported him to change his life and he is now attending pottery and art & craft sessions at the Croft Centre where he particularly enjoys colouring in pictures of coke cans.
Neil also likes going to rural areas for long walks. He has always enjoyed the parties at the Croft Centre as he loves the food and pop! Neil is now much less anxious about starting activities and being able to do a variety of activities means Neil has a much more meaningful life.
‘Neil is so relaxed these days while enjoying sessions and having fun at the Croft Centre with staff’ (Karl and Dave – staff)
