A key strength of South Hill is its emphasis on sensory programmes.

The curriculum includes core themes such as self awareness, communication and independence, with programmes designed to align with each learner’s long-term aspirations and academic ambitions.

Tithebarn, located in Stockton, Teesside, provides a specialist curriculum for autistic learners, who have mild to moderate learning disabilities or other additional difficulties. The curriculum is individualised, inclusive, and built around learners’ interests and long-term aspirations, aiming to prepare them for the next steps in their lives.

Halls of Residence

Ashleigh

Ashleigh is located in Gosforth, Newcastle. All students have higher-functioning autism or Asperger Syndrome and many have additional or related conditions. The majority of residents attend our day College at North Rye in Newcastle, however a few places are available for students attending South Hill in Sunderland.
