Tasker

Tasker provides tailored education for autistic learners who want to prepare for the world of work or the next steps of education. The curriculum includes core themes such as self awareness, communication and independence, with programmes designed to align with each learner’s long-term aspirations and academic ambitions. Classes are small, with up to four learners, promoting participation and achievement. Most learners study between Entry Level 3 and Level 2, preparing for further education at college or university.

Tasker offers joint programmes with local FE colleges allowing learners to follow an autism-focused curriculum at Tasker while also pursuing qualifications such as GCSEs or A-Levels.  Tasker also supports a vibrant LGBTQ+ community, connecting learners with advocates, counseling and support services.
