Another successful MacMillan Coffee Day fund raiser
Every year students, residents, staff, parents and friends take part in raising funds at MacMillan Coffee Mornings hosted in a variety of ESPA services. This year we raised a total of £898.27 at events held at MyPlace (£221.60), Beechwood (£122.05), North Rye (£261.00), The Croft Centre (£164.64) and Head Office (£128.98).
Many of the people we support joined in by making cakes and treats, setting up the rooms, welcoming visitors, serving drinks and helping to manage the events. Learners Jack and Courtney from North Rye baked some delicious, mouth-watering cakes. These learners are part of the Scrummy Kitchen Social Enterprise; baking produce for partners Café Beam and due to their baking talents raised an amazing £261.
A massive ‘thank you’ to staff, family, friends and the people we support that contributed to this brilliant social event and raised funds for a very worthy cause.
