Technology Supports Independent Travel – South Hill

Two very interesting uses of technology have started at South Hill with the first being the use of the award winning App called My Travel App.  South Hill are helping O2 in the latter stages of the development of a revolutionary App that tracks learners as they become independent travellers and assists them along their journeys.  Our college ambassador Bryn Howard is trialling the app. Details of the history of the devise can be found at:

The second initiative is using IPad mini’s to help learners create their own social stories to make journeys easier and less stressful as well as allowing learners to reflect on their journey. The software being used is Story Creator available on iTunes.
