Becoming a Student

ESPA College accepts referrals from Local Authorities, Social Care, Health Professionals and Parents. The College gather information and reports from various sources, including the prospective student, their family, school and other professionals involved. Families or guardians may be asked to complete a Pre-Assessment Questionnaire as part of this process. 

The gathered information is reviewed by the Admissions Team and members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to determine the most suitable College site. Prospective students may then be invited for an assessment visit. 

If an appropriate educational programme is available, all reports and documents are sent to the individual’s Local Authority contact. Once written confirmation of funding is received, ESPA College confirms the placement and will provide a start date.
