Creating a Sensory Space at Ashleigh (2026)

Students at North Rye  have been developing valuable practical and vocational skills through the creation of a new sensory room. Learners have independently painted, laid flooring and installed sensory features, applying skills learned across college settings to support current and future students. The project has helped build confidence, independence and pride, while creating a calm, supportive space with real, lasting impact.
